L4D2 Tournament!

Chicken and Tom are planning to host a l4d2 tournament with the community! It will be on the PC with a entrance fee of 5$ a team. Post at http://www.bu-gaming.com/t742-l4d2-tournment-official-signup if got a team.

I guess I'll start the ball saying I've got 4 and another interested possibly without a team.

I'll be working on the official rules within the next coming days.. We are aiming for Saturday the 1st of october for the date if I'm not mistaken.

Do you have any experience in doing so? And thorough knowledge of the game? Matter of fact this brings about another interesting topic.. We need to hold interviews for spectators/announcers/commentators. +1 to the 'to do' list. Thanks logan

It'd be interesting having people commentate over the game. Maybe make a "Suggest-a-Person" thread? For now I suggest Beau. He seems like the one to commentate to me

I'm intrested in being an anouncer/ commentator as i have done it before at school for a game of soccer between teachers and students.. Also if u ask if i have the right qualifications.. I'm studying journalism with specialty in radio.. I know the basics of commentating and announcing as for how to make it sound more intresting as it is .. Yes i do have a smooth and sexy voice and my english is fine ( if u can look past the slight dutch accent ) + i've watched and played enough left for dead 2 to have a good game knowledge... Although i want to be the commentator/anouncer with the slight sexual inuendos

We have set an official date of October the 8th for the tournament. Entry fees/signups will be due to be turned in no later than October the 1st. More details to come and we will be keeping this thread as up to date as possible.

Wow this seems amazing! Since i believe with a strong passion nobody will pay for me to play with them, I have an extensive intelligence when it comes to this game, and I would like to apply to be a commentator.

Qualifications: I have been playing the game since a month it had came out, it was my first PC so I played the shit out of it, and i love to see new people play the game or experienced people and guessing what they might do. I am a natural chatterbox, so whenever it gets very quiet I get uncomfortable some times. So you will not have to worry about me getting quiet unless I am doing something.

Downsides: The only downsides I can think of are me having to do things for my mother at times and I have a somewhat High pitched voice, I could use a voice changer but I believe in not covering my voice up. Anyways.

So I hope you consider this application and I would love to talk to chicken or tom about this.

Still trying to get our 4 set, seem to be having activity and internet problems from a couple :S

A recommendation to everyone is to have 5 on your "team" just in case someone can't show or has connection issues.
