MC Server Requests

So, I've basically just changed the idea of this thread since I have the information for the server now. The server info is in a separate (locked) thread where you can look at it.

Here is where you will make suggestions, requests and etc about the MC server we run.

I don't know yet. This isn't on the priority list yet so it's not really a concern as of right now. But I'll post the price here once it is.

Some suggestions I have for the server.

-Collect donations to from the Unsanity/Borderline community to keep it up all the time, or at least on a regular schedule.


-Do the same with a Teamspeak server that could double as the TeamSpeak server people have been wanting when watching Tom


-Run these mods occasionally or at least for special events
--Spleef, a completive arena game http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/Spleef

A very intriguing idea. Would you mind posting this up in a separate thread in the Suggestion Box thread so that I don't forget about it? Now that I look at it, the forum is fine as it is now and it seems that the Minecraft Dedicated server is getting a lot of hype.

As for TS, I'm thinking that I might end up going down the road of Ventrilo chat just because that's what I've been using lately with some guild mates and since switching over from TS to Vent, I've grown accustomed to it.

Anyway, as I said, post it up in the Suggestion Box section please and I'll make a poll of where the money should go to since it's your guys' money.
I'll also talk to Tom about it within the next few days here and see what his thoughts are.

What was the name of that server mod that allowed for Inventory editing?

hMod is a useful admin mod that you can use, easy to set up, along with the fact you can give yourself stuff by using the /item or /give command.

Right niw there are only a select few that are whitelisted for the server, however, we can put you on a secondary serve list so that if someone isn't on that night, then we'll open it up to you. (Josh, write him down somewhere.)

Even if they were on the primary whitelist, I don't think it'd be a problem since the seven people on the Whitelist aren't always going to be on at the same time. But maybe I'm just missing something...

I guess I could talk to Josh about it and see if he can make it limit just 7 people as a maximum, that way it's a first come first serve kind of thing.

I know, it's way too long. I haven't got around to trimming it down or anything. I don't have any idea who should stay on and who should go.

Also, anyone who has any prior knowledge on running MC servers, any help would be appreciated. there's still alot of problems with the server.

You can put me on the lowest whitelist since I really only have a laptop I can play on without a mouse (just the pad).
I'm pretty sure it's "Tairyhesticle"

Also I think there should be a Sticky'd Admin-Only thread with the priority list of the server's whitelist so we can see who's on there without scrolling through stuff. Maybe put in the ID also.

Im always playing minecraft So expect me to be on the server as much as possible XD i have a laptop with a mouse and its can run minecraft easy so yeah : P

How often is the server up if you know by any chance? I was whitelisted but I'm not sure if I am or not now.

You're still whitelisted, it's just that the server isn't up all the time.
It's usually up whenever Tom plays Minecraft with Josh. When you see Goonu next time in the chat, just ask him if you can get in.

You are, Josh needs to frequently check in on this forum and then give me updates as to who is new to the whitelist so I can update this.
