Greedy Capcom is greedy. DO they break the record for releasing a game when the game has only been out 4 months? I mean really... did they release it so soon out of greed? Or because fans were wanting it so badly?

This is Capcom... they didn't say this obviously but I can only imagine.

""Hey let's sell what we have for $60, finish up then re-release it with 12 new characters and 8 new maps for $40... and hey, let's add people waiting for a fight to watch the current fight in progress, which we didn't implement in the first time, so you would just wait and not see the fight happening. Oh sure we did that in our Super Street Fighter IV but hey, this is gonna sell for us, people can't wait for this, just let it out now, release it again later and hey, maybe release it again!"

Really... it does seem like Capcom is the Japanese Activision or something. Two of the biggest companies that are all about money. They find what works and milk the people for all their cash. Hardly any sales, and just like $1-5 off at best if there is. Expensive DLC... man... the madness.

Think of it this way, I rather pay 40 dollars for 12 characters, 8 stages, Gameplay changes and rebalancing instead of 60 plus dollars for the characters, Whatever amount for the stages and a minor fee for changing how certain characters work. Also, If your in Canada, Gamestop is currently taking Marvel VS Capcom 3 for 30 dollars. Thats a pretty good deal and ten bucks off of the price of Ultimate Marvel VS Capcom 3. In all, I think it's a wise choice over dlc. And this actually shows changes to the Gameplay and other aspects.

But DLC shouldn't be overpriced like that to begin with. If they were just say, $1 each, that would just be $20 eh? But characters shouldn't even cost $1 each. I feel they should cost 25 cents, around that area. And maps for games, depending on the type of map, $1 or less. I mean what happened to getting the full game right then and there? Compare the cost of game to DLC and DLC is terribly overpriced. Because with a $60 game you are paying for the graphics and all the work that went into making the game. The story, the mechanics, voice work... all that such.

Thing is they couldn't even tell everyone "Hey guys, just give us 4 more months and you will get the game." No, they just had to release it so soon, knowing they were still working on the real final... if it really is the final.

It is like Capcom is eager to release a game and if it is not the best or know they didn't put everything, figure release now and then release again later. It is like Capcom is OCD or something but it is probably more of a greed thing. While you have Square Enix who is eager to announce a game before they have even started to develop it and thus their games start becoming the next Duke Nukem Forever. It is like what I saw someone say, how it is like Square Enix gets an idea and announces it before even knowing full well if they are going to make with it or not.

But yeah basically... the whole re-release of this just goes to show they were giving a bare bone experienced to begin with, which I think many saw that, aside from blind fanboys. Lack of modes and features and characters to begin with.
