| Yeah this is a bit personalish but I'm unsure and I want opinions of the average person(well no one is average but you know what i mean)
My Highschool has this thing where if you work in the cafeteria you get paid. This is good pay where you work for like 30 mins, a free lunch, and taxless min. wage(cause I'm not 18)
Financially i don't need need it, but it's a want it cause my video game library... is pitiful, and to sometimes fund my own stuff(printer ink, AP tests, yearbook, prop projects, etc.).
Pros: MONIES!(Calculated about $1,200+ in the year) My closer friends(not acquaintance type friends) make up most of student staff.
Cons: Looked down upon(even more than i already am) Takes up time(ussually spends this time to talk with friends about random shit or time that can be used for something important)
Job: Either just be a runner(get food to the register) or server
So what do you guys think?
Thanks for reading!
P.S i cant get job anywhere else cause I'll have trouble working afterschool/weekends. | |

| Do the Job. This really shouldnt be that hard a question. The money is more important than whatever people at your school think because honestly you are probably not gunna see these guys ever again after you graduate and go to college. Plus the money you make while working (with your friends) will be spend on games where youll be playing and interacting with them... as opposed to not doing the job, wasting your lunch period, not making any cash and still living with your limited gaming options while all your friends who DID do the job, get more games and move on to new ones you dont have. | |

| This is from experience, when I was like 12 I started working at my dads place, and made pretty good money, by 14 i had raised 7.5k and still had money that wasnt in the bank to spend, then when i got a different job at 16 i had more then 10k which i blew all on a car (horrible horrible idea) But you get the idea,
1: get a job
2: work hard
3: ?????
4: PROFIT | |

| If there was a program at my school like this, I would defiantly take it, who cares of you look down upon, you get money for not really doing anything. | |
