Hoy thar

So I found Tom's stream on jtv, liked it, and eventually decided to join the forums. Blah blah what else is new. A few things you should know about me. First, I run Linux. Second, I think Windows is useful only for gaming and such. Third, despite that, I still do play what games I can get my hands on. Those are fairly limited as I lack access to a credit card. If I really want something though I can usually get my friend to gift something to me on steam and reimburse him later.

So my taste in games includes but is not limited to:

• Dwarf Fortress
  
• Magicka
  
• Minecraft (obviously)
  
• TF2
  
• Rigs of Rods (granted, this is more of a simulator, but what the hell)
  
• An old obscure Lego FPS game called Rock Raiders which is pretty fun to mod
  
• Anything with ridiculous explosions
  

I'm also a crappy programmer. I know Java, which is complete bollocks, but allows me to dev on linux and still have it work for the Windows users with only few minor modifications. I have several semi-hiatus projects going, but if someone asks me to make something I can probably do so. Note, I make tools, not games. I also know some HTML/web/hosting stuff, but I haven't really used that for anything.

Miscellaneous junk:

• I hate incompetence with the fury of an angry god
  
• There is absolutely no reason to spell something wrong in the internet
  
• I'm a strong believer in directing people who ask silly questions to google
  
• I'm terribly cynical
