Pictures of Minoko

She rounded the corner carefully, gun held aloft. Her eyes roamed the open area, ever alert for the sound she feared the most. That ever persistant sobbing.. The wails and moans that sent chills down her spine. She had managed to get seperated from the other survivors, and having no reference point, she moved the only direction she could. Forward. With her Magician hat atop her head and robes swaying behind her as she jogged silently, she felt as though she was the epitome of silence. Of stealthy and shadows. Unfortinately, what she failed to hear was the soft wailing. It rebounded off the walls and filled her entire body with terror, but she kept going. She had to.. She heard there was a safe house on the other side of an airport, so that was her mission. Rounding a collection of large piles of suitcases and stray clothing, bloodied and torn, she stumbled across her. The Witch sat amongst a pile of debris, long claws covering her face as she held it, sobbing and moaning. Minoko backpeddled as quick as she could, her fingers fumbling with the flashlight.. But a soft growl told her she wasn't fast enough. She lost her footing and fell backwards over discarded zombie bodies, landing loudly. She never heard the loud growl and howl of rage. She only felt the pressure on her body and the labored breathing of The Witch. She had startled The Witch.

She closed her eyes tightly and awaited the death that she knew so well, but nothing came. No striking blows. No screams that bounced off the walls. Just a pressure of another body atop hers. She opened her eyes carefully, looking up at the stringy blonde hair, flecked with blood and who knew what else. Long and deadly slender claws pressed on both her shoulders, weighing her down even more. The Witch had a surprised look on her face as Minoko blinked, her body telling her to run and shoot, but her mind telling her to stay still. If she wasn't attacking now.. Maybe she stood a chance. The Witch leaned in closer and Minoko tilted her head to the side, straining to move her face away. Her hat fell off in the process and The Witch focused on that for a moment. What she didn't expect to feel were arms encircling her, pulling her up to a sitting potition. Surprise etched across her face, she could only stare as she felt herself being pulled into a hug. With her arms pinned to her side, there was little more she could do besides deal with it. Her breath hitched as The Witch drew back some, and for a moment she thought she was dead. Though when a careful claw came up, brushing the hair from her face, her confusion was extremely obvious. The next thing she knew, The Witch was pressing bloodied lips against her own, holding her in strong arms.

Her blood ran cold and she shivered, pushing back the urge to vomit. The kiss continued though as The Witch began licking at Minoko's lips, trying to get her to respond. She kept her mouth firmly closed, but at the low warning growl, she had no choice. Her own mouth opened ever so slightly and she returned the kiss as quickly as she could, wanting this to just be over. From the distance there was the low call of a Hunter, closing in on them both. She had to run.. She had to survive! The Witch seemed to have heard this sound also, because she reacted in a way Minoko never would of imagined. She broke the kiss quickly and spun them both around, dropping the robed Minoko behind her and calling out a warning growl, loud and strong. The sound from the common in the distance and the Hunter fell silent as The Witch turned, holding something in her hand; Minoko's hat.
With a shaking hand she reached out, her fingers barely brushing against the fabric when she stopped, drawing her hand back. "You.. keep it." She said, the smallest of smiles playing on her lips. She reached out and took the hat, but instead of placing it back where it belonged, she placed it atop The Witches head, watching as it fell some to the side.
The Witch stood there as she took a few hesitant steps back, offering a smile and her hat in way of thanks for being allowed to live. Next time, she wouldn't be so lucky.
