Check again, JTV just went on maintenance to kneed out a few issues. And trust me, A LOT of them had popped up in the last little while and I'm fairly sure they haven't fixed these little bugs so most staff could focus on TwitchTV. Now that the bugs are built up they might need a bit of time to fix. Razz

Just my thoughts, Knowing me the're probably terribly wrong and they were just flying on unicorn muffins when someone spilt their stainless-steel scarf on their computer magically iramificating and unterraforming the JTV site

They did the maintenance, 10 mins after they had to just turn it off completely and now they are trying to fix the bugs the caused while fixing bugs.

JTV is so inconsistent... at times I go to watch Tom and... plays a few seconds of audio, everything freezes. Other channels work fine but Tom... yeah. I get that with others though as well. Or how audio keeps going but a still image remains. I know, rather unrelated to what happened to JTV but still...

My cast is fine through highlights and other sources but I think the issue is that I cast at a higher quality but for some reason I don't get the scroll bar for choosing the quality of my cast so people that can't handle a 420p or 720p cast get issues with lag and such

Yeah but I mean other times, even on high quality from you or others, it runs fine... and other times it does not... even on uber low quality it can tend to run just the same with constant freezing and all that crud.

On another note though... JTV is still broken. I don't ever know when most that I follow are casting now. It does not show up anywhere on my list, only their recordings... even you Tom. Sometimes it shows you are casting on my list, I leave your stream for awhile and come back and it is not on the list so I have to type it in and there you go, you are casting yet JTV wants to tell me otherwise.

One bug they have with the quality changed. If you switch between 420p and 720p, best is first of all going to be lower quality than 720p(strangely) and Best will have better stability than all of them (or at least til your in 240p). They really need to work on this, but now they are focused on twitchtv.... so yeah.
