Audio drop from Skype

I was watching Toms last cast and I noticed that his audio from Xsplit drops when he talks on a Skype call with Beau, or Josh etc...

Well I had that issue from before, and I even told Tom how to fix this issue, but he NEVER used it.

Well here's a tutorial that Tom should hopefully see.

1. Go to control panel, you may have different layouts with your control panel so I have put the two most commonly used layouts here.

2. Find the sound tab, either with the Category Menu, or the Large Icons layouts.





3. Then a menu looking similar to this should appear.



4. Then go to the "Communications" tab and you will see this, and select "Do Nothing".



5. You should no longer get lower audio volumes when talking to people on Skype!

Sadly when you first told me this I did change my settings as you had mentioned but It seems to do what it wants for me!

Although this is a great how to for casters starting out new! Thanks Jay (Also thanks for the emote, I thought Beau had added it already so I didn't throw it up)

Its fine, Im actually going to be casting some time soon (~May 27th)

Good god, I've been wondering how I did this before my system reboot.
