I decided to go ahead and recommend this.

CLOCK TOWER.

I am a pansy so I get scared reading about it.

Its a point-and-click game, the first one has only been released in Japan but has fan translations and the sorts. In the USA, the one I had known, Clock Tower 2 is Clock Tower 1.

It is SCARREH. You're completely defenseless and you have to hide lest not get cut in half by a small child with a pair of hedge cutters.

Secondly, ETERNAL DARKNESS

Eternal Darkness, You get plenty of guns, more of a Resident Evil type of game. In the record-book for having the most amount of playable characters in a horror story. You go from across the damn board of time. Check it out.
