That was marvelous! While albeit simple, it captures the elegance of the Saints Row universe.
(Wow, I got all sophisticated in this piece.)

Anyway, even though that was only a small clip, the graphics look like they have had a huge makeover! Lets just hope the PC version is not as big of a disappointment as the PC "Port" of Saints Row 2 was, it still makes me shudder even thinking about it.

This is the single worse game trailer I have ever seen in my history of gaming, for the love of god there was nothing in that trailer, just a guy punching a dude in the dick, This trailer needed so much more work, this games trailer is a failure, for sure. I can only hope the release one will be much more interesting, If it isn't I know one game i'm not buying, Anyway end of my rant. The game so far, looks like shit.

Oh my god.

I really don't know if I'll buy it or not.

With Guild Wars 2 coming around the bend, my need to buy a vehicle, pay for my phone, AND XSplit coming out of Beta soon, I don't think it'll be worth my money.

I had got Saints Row 2 for 360 because it was part of a select few games during a holiday sale... getting a buy 3 games for the price of 2. They were all just $20 games though but still, it was good, though I would have selected different if I had got into Steam sooner and I would have gotten The Orange Box on there instead but anyway...

I read that Saints Row 2 looked a bit better on 360, but performed better on PS3. In the 360 version there was some major lag, mostly during certain missions like having to be on this boat out far in the ocean... man that was unbearable. I never played the PS3 version so dunno how much better it would've been on there.

Anyway... I wonder what is the lead for Saints Row 3? I am hoping PS3 is the lead, that way it is good and 360 version tends to be just as equal when PS3 is the lead. But if 360 was the lead, PS3 port tends to suffer as a result because PS3 is harder to work with and it is easier to work with the harder platform, PS3, and port to the easier to develop platform, 360.

I don't pay for Xbox Live or anything as I have no need, heck I don't seem to do online play with the games I do have, I just never got into it. Bit afraid to do so, I know I won't be good and well I know no one with the games I have or they don't have a PS3. I did play online a bit on Uncharted 2 and I had fun but I dunno... I guess I don't make time for online play.

What I am trying to say is that I want to get it for PS3 so I can do online play for this game. I think there is only Co-op but that is fine with me. Just with how I own both 360 and PS3, I tend to want the better version, one that performs better and looks better... though I guess I prefer performance over graphics. But I mean sometimes the difference is just too large. Borderlands for PS3 had much better character models over the 360's which lacked detail and seemed smudged, at least in the screenshot comparisons I seen. In cases like that it is too big a difference in graphics that would make me consider one platform over the other... even if it means no online play on 360.

Ah well I know it shouldn't matter and I should go with PS3 regardless for the sake of online, even if I never do play it online it is nice to have that option there I suppose. Also in that new trailer... at 1:03 that guy looks like Ashton Kutcher. Probably done on purpose? I think there are other look alikes in there but I am not sure.

LOL, YES! That looks great, I cant believe they made the game even crazier!

I though SR2 was pretty crazy and couldn't be topped. I also though SR3 was gonna be more of the same, but I was wrong. Bravo, gentlemen. Bravo.

What I like about that Saints Row 3 image is that the main character you play in the middle there, looks pretty much exactly like how I made him in Saints Row 2, even dressed the same... that is pretty awesome. Yes I know you can make the character look how you want but just saying I made it in that image even before that image existed... hope that is chance I can create my character again... just a shame he will lack the British voice they had which went along well with it.

Can't wait for this. I have been a fan since the first one. I never actually owned the first one but I rented it for like 4 or 5 weeks in a row.

I loved playing through the campaign on Co-op in SR2 with my friend. I loved it even more that you can do all the collectibles achievements on Co-op (tags, jumps, etc). Makes it a lot more funner searching for them when you have a friend to do it with.
