Izka's Minecraft 'Diary'

DAY-1: The Hunt For The Wolf.

April 1st, 2011

I started in the new world, of course, and immediately began to slap trees back and forth untill they gave me the needed materials. Afterwards, I invested the materials into a pickaxe, an axe, and a crafting table. Not in that order. Using the wooden axe to its full potential, I chopped down 20 wood.

At this point, I was not happy with my spawn point. I decided to search for a woodland area, with a small pond or so, and this is what I found. (Image taken after house is built)

After arriving at this spot, I chopped down more wood, and then it began to darken. I quickly slapped down as many wooden planks as possible into a small house. By the time I finished putting the last block into place, I heard a spider.

Quickly, I built a bed. I laid it down by my crafting bench. I climbed into the bed and went to sleep, waking up the next day to make a storage chest and a furnace. Near my home, there are a couple of small caverns. Luckily without getting attacked, I got 8 iron and 32 coal. I ran back to my house excited to use the new materials.

Arriving home, I slapped the iron into the furnace, aswell as the coal, and begin to build a small, but cozy, home for my yet-to-be dogs. I took the hot iron out of the furnace when it was done and crafted a bucket, and left the rest in the storage chest. When that was finished, I added a couple more torches to my house. I filled a hole in the yet-to-be dog's house with water.

And that is all I have gotten done so far. I'm still searching... I'll be sure to update. Maybe.
