In light of the lack of activity there is around here, this is where you can post some of the favorite music you like. Here's some from me.
Slats slats slats - Skrillex
Jenova Project - DatsiK
Autumn Insomnia Session - The Flashbulb

Alright so a local band around here called "40's" released their title EP. They've got a really great sound and are amazing artists. Genre is sort of alternative indie. Download and let your ears enjoy.
And also here one of the most epic music videos I've seen in awhile.

Glad to hear it, they're definitely one of the best local bands around here.

Damn nice song for a local band but it does get repetitive for me.

So I've found a man by the name of Alfred Darlington, he goes by the name Daedelus. (dae-da-les) He's one of my favorite new artists but he's been around since 2001. He's under a genre of electronic experimental, with a heavy influence of dubstep, jazz, and hip hop. He's also been a large advocate of a musical device called a 'monome.' (also known as a bit box)
He may be my new favorite artist, topping Deadmau5, which is a tall feat. He's got several albums and EP's out but is widely known for his amazing live performances. Also, he's got badass sideburns.
Just a small bit of what to expect at live performances.
Probably his most known song.
A great explanation of his life and influences from the man himself.
And this last video is of a style of music making called "circuit bending"
Hope you enjoy!

Kid carpet is pretty damn good considering most of his damn music is composed with children's toy (Most from the 80's). He's been around for a few years but I feel he doesn't get enough love so I thought I'd at least post some of his work! Wait about a minute in for the first video though.

I am a MASSIVE fan of House and DnB music, so much that I'm going to post two of my favourite songs ever, then abit of deadmau5 for good measuring.
Something about this song makes people hooked to it, every one of my friends who are complete metalheads and don't even like electronic at all (except like 2 people) all love this song, guarantee winner!
This song is just fantastic, amazing song, amazing movie, amazing composers.
Can not go wrong with some mau5, but this song in particular is what makes him a musical legend to me.

I unlocked the thread so we can post songs that don't quite fit in anywhere else on the forum. For instance the Kid Carpet songs I posted would fit under a genre titled "Shit pop" but I don't feel that we need a thread all based around it.
