First topic message reminder :

It's probably a long ways off before Tom's channel gets a new moderator, though another is eventually imminent. I'd say it's either going to be Zieno, gnomie_has_hostages, or izzygirl, though I couldn't say which of those three I put first.

But in all seriousness, I think somebody who tries to help the moderators with their job (not by commanding, but by asking), and helps the overall quality of the chatroom should be a mod. Of course, if they've been in Tom's channel for a long time and deserve modship, give it to 'em!

i agree but being in there for a long time should not mean you deserve mod one point is iloveonobunaga he is a good kid but i really dint think he should get mod for being there for a long time

- Being a mod isn't in how long you have been here, you could be here for 10 years and not get modded its your overall point of view, if you want to help if you can lay down the lay if your active, as well, does play a part in it, You have to have certain quality' s in order to be a mod, not just be here for a long time, then again you could be all of those things but not get modded, biased on past behavior lets say you flamed someone once and got timed out, people think about that, " Hmmm has this guy ever been timed out? has he ever raged at someone? "

He should choose the person most suited for becoming a mod. Wether they have been here long or is the most loved/popular is irrelevant.

Sadly true, but sometimes you need aesthetic mods that talk to people and make moderators in the channel as a whole seem more vocal and to show that all mods aren't just there to moderate but to talk and enjoy the company of the viewers as well.
